Day 02 / Delhi - Varanasi ( By overnight train in air-conditioned sleeper class Dep. 18:30 hrs. Arriv. 07:30 hrs. )
After a leisurely breakfast sightseeing tour of New Delhi where ornate bu ildings recall the days when India was the Jewel in the crown of the British empire. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar, India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial, Also visit Laxmi Narayan temple popularly known as Birla Temple. Later by the evening transfer to railway station to board theovernight train to Varanasi. Overnight in air-conditioned sleeper class.
Day 03 / Varanasi
ArriveVaranasi, said to be the India’s most sacred city situated on the western bankof the holy river Ganga. It is also the oldest living city in the world. As aplace for devotion and worship, with hundreds of temples dotting the city,sunrise on the river front as seen from a boat can be a spiritually upliftingsight. It has a fascination uniquely its own, a quality of sublime beauty, atimeless eternal appeal. Varanasi is the city which cannot be described, onlyexperienced. Meet assist at the railway station and transfer to hotel. Day 04 / Varanasi
Morning boat cruise atthe river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Laterexcursion to Sarnath, 10kms. East of Varanasi, is one of the Buddhism’s majorcenters of India. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha came to Sarnathwhere he gave his first sermon. Visit the deer park and the museum and laterback to Varanasi. Night stay in Varanasi.
Day 05 / Varanasi - Khajuraho ( By flight )
After breakfast transfer to airport on time to board the flight to Khajuraho. On arrival in Khajuraho meet assist at airport and transfer to hotel. Later in the afternoon proceed for sightseeing of Khajuraho - famous for the legendary temples of khajuraho built in the 9th and the 10th century. Acknowledged as one of the world’s artistic wonders. Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual appeal of its erotic sculptures. Night stay in Khajuraho.
Day 06 / Khajuraho - Orchha ( by road ) Approx. 3 hrs. drive
After breakfast drive to Orchha. On arrival in Orchha transfer to hotel. Later tour of this historical site with magnificient temples and monuments. Some of the palaces were decorated with painted murals which represent the finest flowering of the Bundela school of painting. Night stay in Orchha.
Day 07 / Orchha - Gwalior ( by road ) Approx. 2 hrs. drive
After breakfast drive to Gwalior. On arrival in Gwalioe transfer to hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of Gwalior known for its spectacular hilltop citadel. Within walls lie Jain statues, Rajput Palaces, Hindu temples and a Victorian school. Night stay in Gwalior.
Day 08 / Gwalior - Agra ( By fast air-conditioned train Dep. 19:05 hrs. Arriv. 20:25 hrs. )
After breakfast visit Gwalior fort and visit local markets. Later in the evening transfer to railway station to board the fast air-conditioned train to Agra. Arrive Agra, meet at the railway station & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Agra.
Day 09 / Agra - Jaipur ( By road Approx 5 Hrs) enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri
Early morning a second visit to Taj Mahal at sunrise , Later drive to Jaipur-the fabled “pink city” of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. This is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendours are now living monuments enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri-a perfectly preserved red sandstone “ghost town" which was the estranged capital of mughal emperor Akbar, built in 1569 and deserted when its water supply failed. Arrive Jaipur in late evening & transfer to hotel. Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 10 / Jaipur
After a relaxed breakfast proceed for a morning excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride ascent to the fort.
AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. Its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression. Continue sight-seeing.
CITY PALACE - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture, the City Palace sprawls over one-seventh of the area in the walled city. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.
JANTAR MANTAR - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consisting of outsized astronomical instruments is still in use.
HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental facade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-storey structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women. Night stay in Jaipur.
Day 11 / Jaipur - Pushkar ( By road ) Approx. 3hrs. drive
After breakfast drive to Pushkar. On arrival in Pushkar transfer to hotel. Later visit most famous is the Brahma Temple, said to be one of the few temples in the world dedicated to this deity. It's marked by red spire, and over the entrance gateway is the hans, or goose symbol, of Brahma, who is said to have personally chosen Pushkar as its site. Night stay in Pushkar.
Day 12 / Pushkar - Jodhpur ( By road ) Approx. 5hrs. and half drive
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. On arrival in Jodhpur transfer to hotel. Night stay in Jodhpur.
Day 13 / Jodhpur
After breakfast proceed for city sight seeing tour of Jodhpur. Jodhpur - the stronghold of the fierce Rathore clan, was founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort, visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant singh II around 1899 and Umaid Public gardens. Night stay in Jodhpur.
Day 14 / Jodhpur - Udaipur ( By road ) Approx. 5hrs. and half drive Enroute visiting Ranakpur
After breakfast drive to Udaipur. Enroute visiting the Jain temples at Ranakpur, superbly preserved in a near-perfect condition for over 500 years. The most attractive features are the 29 halls of the temple, which have 1444 pillars of which no two are like. On arrival in Udaipur transfer to hotel. Night stay in Udaipur.
Day 15 / Udaipur - Delhi ( By overnight train in air-conditioned sleeper class Dep. 18:30 hrs. Arriv. 06:15 hrs. )
After a relaxed breakfast proceed for city sight seeing tour of Udaipur. The city is built in 1559 A.D. by Maharaja Udai Singh and has been described as the most romantic spot on the continent of India by Col. James Todd. Visit the City Palace museum, the Jagdish temple, Sahelion Ki Bari (Queen’s resort for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk art museum) and the Pratap Memorial. Evening enjoy boat ride on Lake Pichola. Later by the evening transfer to railway station to board theovernight train to Varanasi. Overnight in air-conditioned sleeper class.
Day 16 / Delhi
On arrival in Delhi railway station meet assist and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 17 / Delhi - Amritsar ( By fast air-conditioned train Dep. 07:20 hrs. Arriv. 13:25 hrs. )
Early morning pick up from hotel & transfer to railway station to board the superfast air-conditioned train to Amritsar . Breakfast in the train, arrive Amritsar and transfer to hotel.

The pageant of the beating of the retreat and the change of guard within handshaking distance of the Indian and Pakistani forces here makes the most charming of the spectacles as a daily evening drill. Morning visit Golden Temple -is the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. In the evolution of the Darbar Sahib, is entwined the history and ideology of Sikhism. In its architecture are included, symbols associated with other places of worship. This is an example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance that the Sikh philosophy propounds.
Also visit Jallianwala Bagh- Martyrs’ Memmorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple. Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar. Afternoon transfer to railway station to board the train back to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transfer to hotel. Night stay in Delhi.
Day 19 / Delhi - Departure ( By Flight)
Transfer to airport to board the flight back to your home.
