We know you’ve heard about it and read about it but when you see it …. you will know why the whole world took fancy to the magnificent white marble marvel. The next stop on your trip is Jaipur- capital of the state of Rajasthan, a romantic realm of resplendent palaces, mighty fortresses and regal Maharajas which still remind of the times of the Mughals. We added Varanasi to the usual 9 day Golden Triangle, making it extra special.

Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Upon arrival in Delhi meeting and assistance followed by transfer to hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 : DELHI

Breakfast at the hotel and Morning tour of Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch ), Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House.

DAY 03 : DELHI - JAIPUR

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Jaipur. On arrival in Jaipur check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel. Capital of Rajasthan Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1728 A.D. It is also called Pink City because most houses in old city are pink colored. The city is surrounded by thick wall 20 feet high and 9 feet wide with eight gates. Ajmeri gate and the Sanganeri gate in the south, Chand Pole gate in west and the Ghat Darwaja in the east are the main gates. The city is surrounded by the hills except in the southwest. Fort and the temples can be seen on the hills.

Day 04 : JAIPUR

After breakfast excursion of Amer Fort ascend Fort on Elephants back, afternoon tour of city visiting City palace, Jantar Mantar (observatory), Palace of Winds, Birla temple. evening transfer to hotel.
Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05 : JAIPUR - FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA

After breakfast drive to Agra, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, Fatehpur Sikri was built during 1571 and 1585. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height. Though the city is in ruins, it is a place to visit if one comes to Agra.But in real terms Fatehpur Sikri is a place where one should spend some time. The sunset over the ruins is sight to cherish. arrive Agra check into the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06 : AGRA

Morning visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal, made out of white marble took 22 years to complete (1630-1652 AD). After breakfast visit Agra fort. Built principally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565, the red sandstone Agra fort was partially converted into a palace during Shah Jahan's time. Though the principal structure was built by Akbar, Afternoon visit Itmad-ud-daulah. This tomb belongs to the father of Nur Jahan, Ghias-ud-Din Beg. He was the Wajir or the Chief Minister of Emperor Jehangir. This white marble tomb was built by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628. Evening free for shopping around the local market. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 07 : AGRA - DELHI - VARANASI

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi transfer to domestic airport to connect flight for Varanasi. Upon arrival in Varanasi meeting and assistance followed by transfer to hotel.
Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 08 : VARANASI

Morning boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. Breakfast at the hotel. Rest of the day free for self activities visit Temples & Ashrams.

DAY 09 :VARANASI - DELHI

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi meeting and assistance followed by transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward destination.

What is the weather & temperature like?
Weather in the mountains is notoriously difficult and hard to predict. Of course, it is generally cold at night, and in winter, the days can be quite beautiful if the sun is out. There can be snow or rain storms any time of the year. Trekking in spring (March - April) is particularly lovely and beautiful as the rhododendrons are in full bloom. The mountains still have plenty of high snow to snap your photos. You need to be aware that it can get pretty hot and sunstroke can be a risk. Good polarizing sunglasses or glacier glasses (not trendy fashion ones) for high altitudes/winter treks, and a large brimmed hat are a necessity. It is also important to make sure that you can stay warm and dry in just about any conditions. Expect the unexpected! Between 1000m and 3500m the temperature could be as high as 20 deg C to 5 deg C low. At higher altitude, the temperature ranges from 20 deg C to -10 deg C. During winter it is around 10 deg colder.
